For fiscal 2025, Forbes listed H-E-B's revenue at $49.6 billion; the company had approximately 175,000 employees in 2026. The Butt family retains control of the company, with Forbes estimating its ownership at 87% in 2026. H-E-B also maintains an employee stock ownership program established in 2015.
